Head of Development (m/w/d)

 

Your responsibilities

As Head of Development, you will assume overall responsibility for our development processes—from the initial request to the finished customer solution. You will serve as the bridge between innovative strength and economic scaling and will be our technical conscience in the management team.

  • You will lead and develop our development team of up to 25 employees with a cooperative and motivating management style. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development processes of our charging solutions and licensed products and will ensure the functionality, sustainability, and reliability of our products.
  • You will ensure that agile software and hardware development, validation, and industrialization work effectively hand in hand. You will ensure the seamless integration of development processes and be responsible for their strategic further development.
  • You will be responsible for our IP strategy and manage technology licensing and customer-specific developments. You will work internationally with technology partners and license customers and maintain direct contact with strategic partners.

 

Your profile

We are looking for a courageous, reliable, and fair team player who wants to advance e-mobility and help the company, the development team, and themselves grow.

  • You have a proven track record of forming teams of a similar size. Your strengths lie in personnel development and proactively closing skill gaps within the team. You are customer-focused and think entrepreneurially, with the aim of gaining sustainable market share and increasing value creation.
  • You think in terms of processes, products, and projects, and you know both worlds—the agility of small units and the professionalism of large structures. Experience with embedded systems and agile software development is a big plus.

The aim of this interview is to get to know you personally and to provide you with comprehensive information about the position. Here we check whether our expectations match.

4. Trial day

If the initial interview is positive for both sides, a trial day will follow. It is important to us that you not only get to know the tasks better, but also get a real impression of the team and the way we work.

5. Signing the contract

6. Start and induction

Once we have decided to welcome you to our team, you will start with a structured induction program. You will receive a comprehensive overview of EVTEC AG and our departments, and will be introduced to your new area of responsibility step by step.
